| 8/11/08 -- Open Gym Schedule |
Team practices will continue as normal this week. Starting Monday, September 18th, there will be no team practices for the last two weeks of August. Instead, there will be optional open gyms. All athletes are encouraged to attend as many open gyms as they can. Open gyms will take place on the following days:
Monday, August 18th 6-8 p.m.
Wednesday, August 20th 6-8 p.m.
Monday, August 25th 6-8 p.m.
Wednesday, August 27th, 6-8 p.m.
Practices will resume as normal on Tuesday, September 2nd, the day after Labor Day. During those two weeks, tumbling classes will continue as normal.

 Each camp will be broken up by both age and level so athletes get the most out of their training. Perfect for the most beginning tumbler all the way up to the most advanced.

Camp 1: August 5, 6, 7 9:30 a.m. — 1 p.m.
Camp 2: August 12, 13, 14 9:30 a.m. — 1 p.m.
Camp 3: August 19, 20, 21 9:30 a.m. — 1 p.m.

| 4/21/08 -- Platinum Scores 2 National Championships, Sportsmanship Award!!!! |
Platinum’s Junior and Senior A teams both blew away their competition this weekend at the American Championships, and were named National Champions! The Senior B team was presented with the highest award American Championships gives out: The Sportsmanship Award! This award means we will be featured in American Cheerleader Magazine and money will be sent in Platinum’s name to a cancer fund. (Not to mention we got a banner and a trophy taller than all of us!)
And we can't forget our littlest competitors! The Youth team performed two completely flawless routines and took home a huge 4th place trophy. The Mini team took home a very respectable 6th place in their tough division, and looked amazing on the floor. |

| 3/31/08 -- Platinum's Junior Team Named National Champs in Vegas!!! |
What a weekend!!! Platinum's Junior team beat out 15 other teams from around the country to be named National Champions in Las Vegas. More details and pictures (in their championship jackets) to come. Great job everyone!!!

| 3/31/08 -- Minis Place 5th in the Nation! |
 The Platinum Minis snagged 5th place at nationals in Las Vegas, in an extremely tough division of 18 teams!!! More pictures to come!

3/13/08 -- Senior B Team Places 4th in the Nation in Orlando!!! |
Our Senior B team (and the coaches) are currently very tiredly making their way back home from Orlando where they competed in the National All Star Cheerleading Championships, and placed fourth in the country. They did AMAZING, showing off two nearly flawless routines. It was an unbelievable week, with practices, competition, championship parties and probably too much fun in the Walt Disney World parks.
